• Artisan : 200 posts of Skilled Artisans (Fitter-150, Welder-50), Age:  27 years. , Pay Scale : On successful completion of training period, candidates will be absorbed in the regular establishment as Artisan Gr IV in the pay scale of Rs.11700-23000/-.

BHEL, Tiruchirappalli a major Manufacturing unit having a workforce of around 10,000 employees is looking for Artisans in the following trades :

• Post : 446 posts (UR-224, OBC-120, SC-84, ST-4,PH-14) of Skilled Artisans (Fitter-325, Welder-90, Mechanist-15, Electrician-15, Crane Operator/Shunter-5)
• Qualification: Matric / SSC plus National Trade Certificate (NTC) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade with not less than 60% marks in both NTC and NAC for General and OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
• Age: Upper age limit as on 1/10/2008 - 27 years.
• Fee : Rs. 50/- for General and OBC, No fee for SC/ST/Physically handicapped persons. DD should be drawn in favour of "Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchirappalli" payable at Tiruchirappalli.
