• Head Constable (Radio Operator) : 244 posts, Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.2400, Age : 18 to 23 years
• Head Constable (Fitter) : 06 posts, Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.2400, Age : 18 to 23 years
• Assistant Sub-Inspector ( Radio Mechanic) : 42 posts, Pay Band : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.2800, Age : 18 to 25 years

Pilot recruitment in BSF

Application are invited from male and female Indian Citizens for appointment to Group ‘A’ posts in respect of following BSF Air wing Staff, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in the pay scale mentioned against each and other allowances/incentives as admissible to the members of the Force from time to time.

• Captain/Pilot (Group ‘A’ combatised post) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.16,400-450-20,900( Incentive @ Rs 1800/- for Turbo prop & Incentive for Jet A/C @Rs. 2500/- per actual flying hour), Age : Not exceeding 45 years, Qualification : (i) Current Airlines Transport Licence/Senior Commercial Pilot Licence with current flight Radio Telephone Operator Licence with current instrument rating. (ii)Total flying experience not less than 3500 hrs.
• Co-Pilot (Group ‘A’ combatised Post) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.14,300-400-18,300 ( Incentive @ Rs 1500/- for Turbo Prop & for Jet A/C @ Rs.2,000/- per actual flying hour), Age : Nt more than 40 years., Qualification : (i) Holder of Senior Commercial Pilot Licence/Commercial Pilot Licence. (ii ) Holder of current Flight Radio Telephone Operator Licence and current Instrument Rating. (iii) Total Flying experience of 1000 hrs.

Method of selection: Interview and personality test.
