Haryana Police Female Constable GD Recruitment

Recruitment of Female Constable (General Duty - GD) in Haryana Police

Applications are invited from the Female candidates for filling up of 1067 Posts of temporary Constable (General Duty) in Haryana Police as per details given below. Selected candidates on appointment as Constable shall be in the pay scale of Rs.3050-5325/- with usual allowances.

Character Certificate : No person shall be appointed to the post of constable, unless he produces a certificate of character from the Principal Academic, Officer of the university, College, School or Institution last attended, and similar certificate from two other responsible persons, not being relative who are well acquainted with her in in her private life and are unconnected with her university, college, school or institution.

Educational Qualification : 10+2 pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognised by it for all categories.

Age :

1. General : 18 to 25 years as on 1st July, 2008.
2. 5 years relaxation to SC/BC candidates.
3. Ex-constable of the disbanded HSISF Bns. shall be eligible for age relaxation to enable them to participate in the recruitment process.

Physical standard : Height : 5'2" minimum

Selection Procedure : Physical Efficiency Test and Interview/Personality Test who qualify PET.

Application Fee : Every application should be accompanied with original Treasury Challan or Indian Postal Order for payment of Rs.10/- for General category candidates. The amount be deposited in any Haryana Govt. Treasury under receipt head "0055-Police-Other-Receipt" or be paid by Indian Postal Order payable in favour of respective Chairman, Selection Board. No fee for SC/BC candidates.

How to Apply : A candidate can apply at any one of the the Selection Centres located in District Police Lines. Registration of candidate for recruitment shall begin on 8th August, 2008 at 9.00 AM at the designated Selection Centre. All the eligible candidates may submit their application forms as per prescribed proforma to the "The Chairman of Selection Board" at any one of the selection Centres, in person. The candiates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it along with the application form. Application form can be sent by Registered Post also as to reach the concerned Selection Centres not later the 5th September, 2008. Application by Ordinary post will not be accepted.
