• Scientist B : 08 posts (ST-1, OBC-1, PH-1, UR-5), Pay Band : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100/- Grade Pay 5400 plus NPA (For Medical Graduate only), Qualification : MBBS degree recognized by MCI or First class M.Sc. / Post Graduate degree in the discipline as stated below from the recognized university or equivalent OR Second class M.Sc. / Post Graduate degree in the said discipline with Ph.D. degree from the recognized university or equivalent, Age : 35 years.

5. Scientist B (Veterinary Science) : 01 post (UR), Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science or relevant subject OT Second class Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science or relevant subjects with Ph.D. degree.
6. Scientist B (Statistics) : 01 post (ST), Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Statistics with first class relevant degree or 3 years research/ teaching experience in related discipline as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed Journals and Knowledge of Computer application.
7. Scientist B (Food Science/ Bio Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry) : 01 post (OBC), Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400, Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Food Science/ Bio-chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry or relevant subjects or equivalent OR Second Class Master’s degree in any of the above subjects with Ph.D. Degree or equivalent.

Age : 40 years for Scientist C and 35 years for Scientist B. Relaxation in age as per rules of Govt. of India.

Application fee : Rs.100/- in the form of DD in favour of Director, National Institute of Nutrition payable at Hyderabad.
