Qualification & Experience :

1. Professor : Candidates should have a doctoral degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record thought out from a reputed university/institution and a minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor. The candidates should have demonstrated the highest level of academic leadership including publication in leading academic journals. They are expected to offer functional electives, in addition to the core courses in the area of their specialization, in different programs of the institute, and actively participate in research, consultancy and institution building activities of the Institute.
2. Associate Professor : Candidates should have a doctoral degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record thought out from a reputed university/institution and a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor. Faculty members are allowed the privilege of 52 days of consulting, income from which is shared between faculty and the Institute according to Institute's rules. The institute also provides liberal financial grants to encourage faculty to undertake research and participate in seminars and conferences, national/international and programmes of self-development. Higher start in the time scale may be considered in case of exceptionally deserving candidates.
