IIST offers the following Reader posts purely on provisional and contract basis :

• Reader in Aerospace : Qulification : B.Tech. (Mechanicali0 and M.Tech. in manufacturing or related topics, BE and M.Tech. (Structural Engineering) Or B.Tech. (Civil) and M.Tech. (Structural Engineering)
• Reader in Avionics : Qualification : B.Tech. (Electronics) and M.Tech. (Computer Science / Microprocessor application/ Embedded Systems)
• Reader in Mathematics : Qualification : Ph.D. in Mathematics

Remuneration : Rs.34400/- per month consolidates.

Duration : 2 years but extendable.

Age : 35 years as on 01/02/2009.

All degree should be in First Class.
