Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on Sunday, the 25th May, 2008 an open compettitive examination for recruitment to the post of Special Investigator Grade IV of Subordinate Statistical Service (SSS), a Group 'C' non-Gazetted non-ministrial post in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 all over country.

1. Age Limit : Not exceeding 26 years as on 29/02/2008. Relaxation as per rules.
2. Educational Qualificiation : Bachelor Degree with Statistics as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject OR Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studies in one year/two year/ all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subject from a recognised institute or equivalent.
