SMVDU, Technical University of J&K legislature is a fully residential institution set up on the pattern of IITs. The University has established 10 Academic Schools to impart UG, PG and Ph. D. Level education. Applications are invited for faculty positions at the following level:
- Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.18400-500-22400/-
- Associate Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.16400-450-20000/-
- Assistant Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300
- Lecturer : Rs.8000-13500
- Deputy Registrar : Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300
- Assistant Registrar : Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500
Qualification : Ph.D. degree with high CGPA or first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Economics/ English/ Architecture, with a very good academic record throughout. For Architecture Degree, however, M.Arch./ B. Arch. candidates can be considered with experience appropriate for the posts.
Experience : Professor – at least 10 years out of which 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent., Associate Professor – at least 8 years out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, Lecturer – In Engineering subjects M.Tec. den be considered for appointment.
