• JRF for Physics/ Applied Physics/ Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Environmental Science/ Botany/ Plant Physiology/ Ecology/ Soil/ Agriculture Sciences/ Agriculture/ Crop Physiology/ Soil
  Science/ Agrometeorology/ Agricultural Physics/ Geology/ Applied Geology/ Physical Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Physics: Optics/Applied Optics/ Electronics: M.Sc. / M.Tech. First Class with 65% marks or above., Rs.12000/- per month + 20% HRA and Rs.14000/- per month + 20% HRA in subsequent years
• Research Associates in Atmospheric Science/ Oceanography : Fresh Ph.D. OR Thesis submitted and viva-voce is dure shortly.
• Research Associates in Physics/ Geophysics/ Agricultural Physics : Fresh Ph.D. OR M.Sc. First Class with 65% marks or bove with 4 years research experience.
• Research Associates in Crop Physiology/ Plant Physiology/ Agrometeorology : Fresh Ph.D. OR M.Sc. First Class with 65% marks or bove with 4 years research experience.
• Amount : Rs.16000/- PM + 20% HRA for RA 'A' / Rs.17000/- PM+ 20%HRA for RA 'B' / Rs.18000/- PM + 20% HRA for RA 'C'

Research Fellowships in Engineering and Science disciplines under XI Plan Projects

BARC invites applications for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) and Research Associates (RAs) to be recruited under Plan Projects of BARC. The Fellows will carry out research under the guidance of senior scientists of the centre and will utilize the state-of-the-art instruments and laboratory facilities that are setup / being setup under plan projects of BARC.

How to Apply : Completed applications in on a plain paper along with photocopies of the certificates and affixing one passport size photograph on the top right corner of the application and enclose one spare photograph inside the envelope indicated at “c” above. Append your signatures across both the photographs. Also enclose Postal Order/Demand Draft of Rs.100/- as application fee drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, BARC payable at Mumbai. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee. Send application to the following address only by Registered or Speed Post to the Deputy Establishment Officer (R-IV), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai-400085 so as to reach not later than 20/02/2009.
