The KVS intends to make recruitment for teaching posts for its schools spread all over India. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Nationals for filling up the SC & ST backlog vacancies in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) for the years 2007-08 and 2008-09 :

6. Drawing Teachers  : 04 Posts (SC-4), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600, Age Limit : 35 Years
8. Librarian (LIB) : 01 Post (ST-1), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600,  Age Limit : 35 Years 
9. Work Experience Teachers (Electrical Gadget and Electronics) (WET (EG & E) : 01 Post (ST-1), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600, Age Limit : 35 Years 
10. Music Teacher (MT) : 03 Posts (ST-3), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300- 34800 grade pay 4200, Age Limit : 30 Years
11. Jr. Stenographer : 01 Post (SC-1), Pay Scale : Rs.5200- 20200 grade pay 2400, Age Limit : 27 Years
    
12. LDC : 26  Posts (2007-08 - 11, 2008-09 - 15)(SC-6, ST-20), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 Grade pay Rs.1900, Age Limit : 27 Years
