Vacancies in Delhi Urdu Academy

URDU ACADEMY, DELHI

Applications are invited for the following posts in Unrdu Academy, Delhi on contract basis for one year:

1. Sub-Editor :Qualifications : (i) Degree from a recognised University with Urdu (ii) Diploma in Journalism with two years experience in the field. Preference will be given to the persons having experience in the journal publication work. Desirable : Knowledge of Prosody/ History of Urdu literature.
2. Urdu Translator : Qualification : (i) B.A. in Urdu from any recognised University with English and Urdu as optional subjects. (ii) Three years translation experience from English, Hindi and Urdu and vice-versa
3. Junior Coputer Operator : Qualification : (i) Sr. Secondary or equivalent wit Urdu from a recognised institution. (ii) Should have a speed of not less than 8000 key depression per hour for Data Entry. (iii) Preference will be given to the person having one year Certificate course in Urdu Stenography @80 WPM in Urdu shorthand.
4. Motor Cycle Messanger : Qualification : Matriculation with Urdu and having License of both Three Wheeler and LMV.
