Applications are invited from male Indian Nationals possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Yantriks (3 years Technical Diploma Holders) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union for 02/2016 Batch :

• Yantrik (3 years Technical Diploma Holders) n the Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 with Rs. 2400 Grade Pay, Qualification : Matriculate and three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with 60% marks in aggregate, Age : 18-22 years i.e.  Born between 01 August 1994 and 31 July 1998. (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)

   • Qualification: Matriculate with three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Telecommunication (Radio)(Power) Engineering .
   • Age : Born between 01 January 88 and 01 January 92.
2. Naviks (General Duty) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 with Rs.2000 Grade Pay
   • Qualification: 10+2 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognised by central/ jstate government with 55% marks.
   • Age : Born between 01 January 88 and 01 January 92..
3. Naviks (Domestic Branch (Cooks & Stewards) in the Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 with Rs.1900 Grade Pay
   • Qualification: Matrics (10th Pass) with 50% marks.
   • Age : Born between 01 January 88 and 01 January 92.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates.

3. Naviks (DB) - 25 posts (SC-04,ST-02,OBC-06,Gen-13)
   • Qualification: Matriculate.
   • Age : Born between 01 Mar 86 and 01 Mar 90

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates.
