      DELHI HIGHER JUDICIAL SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2009

      The High Court of Delhi will hold written examination for direct recruitment to Delhi Higher Judicial Service on Sunday the 13th December, 2009. It will be a two stage selection process comprising Written Examination carrying 750 marks and Viva Voce carrying 250 marks. The written test will comprise two parts, Part I objective and Part II descriptive. Syllabus for the written examination shall comprise GK, Current Affairs, English Language and topics on Constitution of India, Evidence Act, Limitation Act Code of Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Contract Act, Partnership Act, Principles Governing Arbitration Law, Specific Relief Act, Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Succession Act, Transfer of Property Act and Negotiable Instrument Act.

      The time-scale of pay of members of the Service is Rs. 16750-20500/- [ Rs.37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8900 in new pay scale] . A candidate shall be eligible to appear in the examination if he/she is (a) a Citizen of India, (b) a Law Graduate from a recognised university, (c) a person practicing as an Advocate for not less than 7 years (d) a person who has attained the age of 35 years but not less attained the age of 45 years as on 1st January 2009.
      Application form including the DHJSE Registration Form can be had personally on payment of Rs.1000/- each for General Category candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH candidates on any working day from 14/09/2009 to 14/10/2009 from the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court or by sending at his own risk, a self-addressed envelope of 38 cm X 25 cm size with Postage Stamp of Rs. 60/- affixed on it along with Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- for General Category candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH candidates in favour of Registrar General, Delhi High Court, New Delhi, payable at New Delhi, in an envelope addressed to Joint Registrar (Vig.), Delhi High Court, New Delhi, superimposed with words in bold letters, "DHJS EXAMINATION - 2009". The prescribed application form along with instructions and DJSE Registration Form will be send to the candidate(s) by Speed Post/ Registered Post only subject to their fulfilling above said requirements and no enquiry/ correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
      Applications on the prescribed form and the DHJSE Registration Form duly filled in along with copies of the requisite documents as per instructions should be sent by "Registered Post Acknowledgement Due" addressed to the Joint Registrar (Vig), Delhi High Court Sher Shah Road, New Delhi-110003, by designation, enclosed in the envelope provided with the application form so as to reach him not later than 15/10/2009. Applications can also be submitted personally at the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court on any working day till 15/10/2009.
      The number of vacancies likely to be filled in is 10 out of which 03 vacancy is reserved for ST, 01 for SC and 05 for General.

Judicial Service Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2009 based on Multiple Choice Questions (100% objective type), to be conducted at Shimla and Dharamshala in Kangra District (if adequate Nos. of candidates opt for Dharamshala centre), followed by main written examination and viva voce, for appointment to the following vacancies of Civil Judges, (Junior Division) in the pay scale of Rs.9000-14550/-.

      How to Apply : Apply Online and Register yourself as a user in HPPSC website. This user I.D. will be applicable for all future references regarding this examination. Fill-up the application Form Online in the given Format. After filling-up form, download the same and take the print on A-4 size paper. Affix passport size photograph duly attested and other requisite documents along with examination fee (demand draft). Put your signatures within the box provided in the application form and send the same in single fold by post in 9"x6" envelope to the Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-2, along with above mentioned documents. Last date is 01/03/2009.

      UP Higher Judicial Service -2007

      Direct Recruitment to the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service- 2007

      Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to 82 vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (UP HJS), in the pay scale of Rs.16,750-400-19,150-450-20,500 with other admissible allowances. Out of this 41 vacancies are for General candidates, 17 vacancies are reserved for SC candidates, 2 vacancies for ST candidates, 22 vacancies for OBC. There shall be 20% horizontal reservation for women subject to their suitability, in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1975. The recruitment will be based on a written examination followed by an interview. The candidates will be called for interview on the basis of marks secured in the written examination. The written examination will be held on 22, 23 and 24 June 2007. Dates of examination can be changed, if necessitated.

      Eligibility of candidate :

      1. The applicant must be an Advocate of not less than 7 years standing on 1.1.2008.
      2. The applicant must have attained the age of 35 years and must not have attained the age of 45 years on the 1st day of January 2008. Provided that the upper age limit shall be higher by three years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and such other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time.

      Application Form : Application forms containing detailed instructions can be obtained on any working day during office hours from the Counter in the office of Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad, on payment of Rs.100/- in Cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Registrar General, High Court, Allahabad, payable at State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Allahabad. Application form and other instructions are also available on the website of Allahabad High Court which can be downloaded and used for submitting the application form along with required application form fee of Rs.100/- and examination fee of Rs. 750/-(Rs. 500/- in case of candidates in Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe category).

      Last Date : The last date for submission of duly completed application form is 30/04/2007
